I enjoy sharing about my sponsorships and what I’m learning about Compassion here with other Compassion friends on: OurCompassion.Org

Today, after learning that a friend’s dad had passed away, I wanted to help by giving a verse. I remember the comforting words that people on OC gave me amongst others in cards and FB posts. I was able to go through my prayer requests and dig up some good verses and remember who had shared what.  Someone posted that I should listen to “Be Still” by Storyside B. I don’t think that I ever did but am glad that I found it again.

In Mark 4:39, Jesus calms the storm when his friends are scared to death. He commands the waves: “Peace, be still” and the waters cease to toss and turn and the storm dies down.

If there are storms in your life, remember that Jesus can be in the center of that. He can command the storms to be still.
